NICA Fund Oversight Committee

The NICA Fund’s Loan Fund Oversight Committee includes members of the WCCN Board of Directors as well as several other experts in finance and grassroots development who meet monthly to approve WCCN's socially responsible investments in Nicaragua and to set policy. The Oversight Committee helps to ensure the financial and managerial integrity of WCCN's partner agencies in Nicaragua. The Oversight Committee's actions are reviewed regularly by the full WCCN board, under whose authority it operates.

WCCN's executive director and loan fund manager advise the committee and attend its monthly meetings as non-voting members. WCCN's loan fund representative in Nicaragua provides the committee with advice and support including due diligence reports on the financial and social performance of the NICA Fund's partner agencies in Nicaragua.
